Introduction
Participants should familiarise themselves with all the rules, regulations, and procedures relevant to their pursuit of study, including those published in the Center brochures and Web site.

Exceptions to any of these following rules, regulations, and procedures must be secured in writing from the CPDNetwork, Center for Professional Development and Networking. No other officials or staffs of Center for Professional Development and Networking are authorised to grant such exceptions independently. Any participant who is in doubt about how a rule, regulation, or procedure applies to her or him should seek clarification from us in writing.

We reserve the right to alter such academic or financial conditions as the following: admission requirements; the arrangement of courses; completion requirements; and fees. Other provisions affecting participants may also be changed as necessary. Such rules, regulations, and procedures may govern both new and continuing participants and will be considered effective-and an integral part of this codification-after notice of the change has been posted on this Website.

Unawareness of these rules will not be accepted as an excuse for failure to act in accordance with them.

Application Procedure
We accept both electronic and paper applications for those seeking admissions to seminar/workshop and course. We strongly recommend that applicants submit electronic applications. The online application will significantly expedite the processing of an individual's application. The deadlines and specific requirements for admissions vary by seminar/workshop and course.

To apply for a seminar/workshop and course the following items may be needed:

  • Seminar/Workshop and Course Application Form

Electronic Application
Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an electronic online version of the application form to CPDNetwork. The online application form is the preferred method of application. It is convenient and easy to use, and is submitted directly to us for immediate processing. This form should be submitted according to the detailed guidelines found on our Web site. The online application form, application fee, and all required electronic and paper documents should be received by the date provided in the seminar/workshop and course description on the website. However, a confirmation will follow by email to you to confirm status of application.

Printed Paper Application
Applicants unable to access the online application may complete the formal paper application provided by us. The paper version of the application requires submission of the application with all supporting materials in a self-assembled packet. The appropriate forms should be submitted, with all required documents, by the deadline dates provided in the seminar/workshop and course description on the Web site.

  • Application Fee

The application form must be submitted with a non-refundable fee of $50. Instructions for method of payment vary by method of application. For fees submitted with a paper application packet, applicants may pay by check or cash. Note: The applicant's name, Passport or NRIC number, and seminar/workshop and course applying to, should be printed clearly on the check. Requests for waiver of the application fee are not accepted.

Admission
Once all materials have been received and an application is considered complete it will be considered for admissions. Early application and registration are encouraged, as enrollment in all seminars/workshops and courses are limited and sections may fill before the published deadlines.

Enrollment Deposit
Applicants who have been accepted for admission are required to submit a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total fee to secure their place in the seminar/workshop and course.

Registration
Participants who are accepted into the courses will be sent detailed instruction on how to pay and register online or via paper form. Payment options may be available upon request. Registrations are only accepted with appropriate payment.

A Registration Acknowledgment Form listing class time, dates, and location, and other relevant information will be sent as confirmation to all participants in each seminar/workshop and course. All seminars/ workshops and courses are offered contingent upon sufficient enrollment and may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy
If you cannot attend a particular seminar/workshop and course, please let us know as soon as possible in writing. All withdrawals will be levied a $50 administration fee. To receive a refund, we must receive written notification at least 5 days before the first class begins. Application fees, and deposits where applicable, are not refundable.

Certificate Completion
Appropriate Certificates are awarded for successful completion of all required courses and projects when required. Successful completion is based on full attendance (defined as being present in the classroom for 90% of all scheduled instruction) and completion of all course requirements.

Equal Opportunity Statement
Center for Professional Development and Networking admits qualified participants of any age, sex, religion, race, sexual orientation, color, disability, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to participants at the school.
