Description:
This
course introduces participants to the basic principles of measuring
and billing the major structural trade sections associated with
multistorey structures.
Course
Objectives:
- Achieve
an understanding of Goundworks, Concrete and Steelwork sections
of the Australian Standard Method of Measurement of Building Works
- How
to interpret basic structural drawings
- Conventions
of measuring, recording and describing structural components with
special emphasis on the use of headings and sub-headings to facilitate
pricing (tendering)

Prior industry experience and/or G.C.E. 'A' Level.
